When the Jewel Quest series was released, it became an instant hit and one very popular jewel game franchise for Mac. That was already some time ago and those gamers were left with a little gaming void since. I think Tibet Quest would be a good follow up for those people. Its match three game play is a bit like Jewel Quest but there are different twists and fun elements. The story takes place in Tibet where Jane’s father was last seen in search of the fictitious and mystical city of Shangri La (originally made famous in a novel, Lost Horizon, by James Hilton). She discovers his journal and tracks his path based on information found within. Traveling amidst the beautiful lanscape, she then meets the Dalai Lama who advises her to go to the Temple of Potala to find stolten artifacts. The game takes you through the mountainous terrain of the Himalayas to find out what happened and to enlighten you on your way to finding the secrets to Shangri La.
