Tasty Planet is another one of our favorite Mac games, and will remind some gamers of Katamari Damacy, which involves a mission to rebuild the universe by pushing around a sticky ball accumulating everything it rolls on. In Tasty Planet, however, the tale is more of a science experiment gone very, very wrong. Instead of rebuilding the universe, you try to destroy it by eating it. You begin as a teeny tiny, unstoppable blob that gobbles up everything in its path, starting with amoebas and germs. The more you eat the more you grow in size but you can never eat anything bigger than your head. Isn’t that what your mother used to tell you? The next edibles you’ll want to devour and digest might resemble golf balls, cars, trees, houses. What’s next, planets? Yes! The bigger you grow the larger the meal possibilities. Yum!
