Aloha Tripeaks

The next installment of the Aloha game series (Remember the card matching Mahjong game, Aloha Solitaire?) is Aloha Tripeaks, where players take a balloon ride over the Hawaiian Islands and play 70 levels of solitaire card games. The game is based on the classic “Pyramid Golf” solitaire game, where gamers build on the stock pile with cards on the tableau in either ascending or descending order. To win the level, eliminate all cards on the tableau to the stock pile. The cool difference here is when you’re stuck and there are no more moves, your handy bonuses can save you! Book of Legends

The Book of Legends takes you on an adventure with Charlie and Zoe, siblings who find a library book, which turns out to be a tome that holds the key to finding King Arthur’s legendary sword Excalibur. It’s a book so important that, in the wrong hands, could have devastating consequences. The two of them embark on a sort of wild goose chase to follow the book’s clues and, of course, to find the sword, all the while being trailed by three menacing men in black. This Mac game is a mixture of world travel in search of the famous sword, inventory-based puzzles, looking for hidden objects and a medieval meets modern thriller.

Caribbean Hideaway

Based on the image to the right, you’d guess that this is a swap gem style match three Mac game with a Pirate theme, and you’d be right about the theme, but not about the gem swapping. It’s actually more of a Collapse game with a slight twist – PLUS a sim. In the story, deckhand Dewey is trying to enjoy his yo-ho years sailing the seas with other pirates but his life soon becomes tangled in a piraty knot. His girlfriend, Ruby Barnacle, gets arrested at Shark Tooth Tavern for having associated herself with a known pirate – but the real truth behind this story is: The Governor of Port Baron is using Ruby as bait to snare the biggest pirate of all: Captain Caninbahl, Dewey’s boss. Join in all the fun as a landlubber, while playing lots of games as Dewey tries to find his GF.
