It’s a rare accomplishment when a game manages to require an equal amount of luck and skill at the same time. Peggle Nights, the second installment of the popular Peggle series, does just that, which is probably why the game is so infuriatingly addictive. It’s much like the game of pachinko except that you initially have the opportunity to shoot the ball with a certain amount of control, rather than shooting it up into the board randomly and crossing your fingers that it’ll land in auspicious places. With Peggle Nights you can accurately aim and hit some of the targets to a degree, but after a while you must rely on luck for the balls to land on more targets or bonus pegs. This combination of game play will surprise you.

Book of Legends
The Book of Legends takes you on an adventure with Charlie and Zoe, siblings who find a library book, which turns out to be a tome that holds the key to finding King Arthur’s legendary sword Excalibur. It’s a book so important that, in the wrong hands, could have devastating consequences. The two of them embark on a sort of wild goose chase to follow the book’s clues and, of course, to find the sword, all the while being trailed by three menacing men in black. This Mac game is a mixture of world travel in search of the famous sword, inventory-based puzzles, looking for hidden objects and a medieval meets modern thriller.

As bubbles fill the screen, pop them as fast as you can. Inhale bubbles and pick a new place to drop them. The bubbles are constantly coming at you, so do your best to clear the board as fast as you can. There are four game modes to vary the game play: Puzzle, Marathon, Lock-Out or Self Destruct. The game might remind some gamers of Collapse but with more game modes, power ups, challenges and bonuses.

Join in all the fun as a landlubber, while playing lots of games as Dewey tries to find his GF.
