The description:

Create your fantasy alter ego choosing between an ordinary human, a cute elf and a wicked demoness. Each character has different starting attributes that will greatly influence the game play. They also behave differently in the various dialogue choices you’ll encounter during the game. Once the game starts you’ll be able to run your life in a virtual fantasy world: choose a job from the 20 different choices, but carefully check the minimum requirements. Each starting job will improve some of your basic character skills, giving you the possibility to unlock more advanced jobs once you have trained your character long enough. From time to time, random events will occur and you’ll also have random encounters: there are six potential partners for your character in the game, two for each one of the three races. Each partner will have his own personality and will react differently depending on which race you’re playing, offering over 100 different dialogue combinations! Can you win their hearts and maybe, one day, marry one of them? Play with your character for 10 in-game years in which you have to do your best! The full game has 20 normal endings plus 6 special marriage endings, providing hours of gameplay and lots of replayability. Can you imagine all the different endings?

A new mac game has just been released by the same developers who brought you the popular 4 Elements and Around the World in 80 Days, the latter game being based on the classic novel by Jules Verne.

The lost continent of Atlantis, created by Poseidon, God of the Sea, is sending out distress signals to be saved from dire consequences. I thought they were lost forever? Apparently not, lucky you! You get to save it. As with the other games in this Atlantis series, you are to venture through and solve jewel matching puzzles and hidden object games, but with Call of Atlantis, you’ll be specifically striving to acquire seven crystals of power in order to appease Poseidon. This is critical because you do not want to be confronted by the wrath of Poseidon!

Download and install QuickPwn, an easy-to-use jailbreaking application for Windows and Mac (the latest version works with iPhone OS 2.2.1). Run the software and follow the onscreen instruction very carefully!

Install iPhoneModem by Addition
QuickPwn installs an app on your phone called Cydia, which is essentially the App Store for apps that were rejected from the official App Store (or, for whatever reason, the developer chose not to release through Apple). Run Cydia, search for iPhoneModem by Addition and install it. Keep in mind you can only delete Cydia installed apps via Cydia’s Manage-Sources function. Now download and install the helper app on your laptop and you’re almost ready to go.

Set up the network
Run the helper app and hit Connect. The helper app sets up an ad hoc wireless network that can be accessed via iPhone. The default network it creates is called “iPhoneModem” and does not have a password (you can change this in the Preferences of the helper app). Now open up your iPhone’s Settings and tap WiFi. Make sure WiFi is turned on and select the network “iPhoneModem” (or whatever you called it). Type the password if you assigned one. Open up the Modem iPhone app and everything else will configure automatically. After a few moments the helper app and the iPhone app will confirm that a connection has been established and you can browse away with all the comforts of your laptop!

Shortcomings
While 3G seems plenty fast on a phone, it feels a little slow on a laptop. Also, most major web browsers work but not all are supported. In addition, a lot of other internet applications aren’t supported, but for all intents and purposes, you should be able to browse just fine….”

A new game for mac! I’m not gonna lie. Pixie is awesome, and I’m not saying that because it was made by my favorite game developers Phelios (PTK Game Engine, Kaijin, Doulber) and EMV (Warblade and PocMon).

What’s the game about? The game’s main character, Pixie, loses her way in a magical forest one day and needs your guidance to return home. To succeed, gamers must play and advance in each game level, which will ultimately send Pixie on her way home, safe and sound. For each level, the objective of the game is to fence off or claim a majority of the playing field, turning it to a happy place filled with flowers, butterflies, mushrooms and life. Click on the playing board and send a magical vine to block off areas of the board. Block off bugs and other enemies to turn them into something more plesant.
