Virtual Villagers 5 – New Believers (real-time strategy sim) – Last Day of Work’s extremely popular village simulation series keeps getting better and better. In this fifth installment, the villagers you’re responsible for have been captured by natives on a strange new village. You must help them survive and strive (and as usual, get them to multiply) and while you’re at it, deal with the captors. There are cool, new powers and puzzles, and remember it’s in real time so things progress even when your Mac is not on.
Virtual Villagers 4 The Tree of Life - There are many new features in Virtual Villagers 4, not just the same story and game play shuffled around. The story takes place on the eastern shore of Isola and centers on a dying Banyan tree. First, select a tribe – for example, a group of children or nursing mothers or a variety of tribes people with a mix of skills (which determines your difficulty level), each group having its own set of strengths and weaknesses. Work on your tribe and get it to thrive and populate the island, find collectibles and uncover fantastic mysteries – then you can pursue the many hidden puzzles scattered around the island, and as you solve them the tree will begin to heal. If your tribe succeeds, and the Tree of Life regains its original power, you will then find out the secrets of the magical island of Isola. Remember that this Mac game is in real time, so your tribe will age and events still take place even when your Mac is turned off!
Virtual Villagers 3 Secret City - When things start to settle down, two islanders wander off and find a hidden cave filled with children! The Secret City takes you on a new journey with a group of villagers. You will land on the hidden shores of the northern side of Isola and explore what was once a secret city. What is THE secret of this mysterious city? A note: The weather is in real time, and the people in the village continue to grow and age, and events take place even when your Mac is off. You will probably be surprised each time you turn on your Mac to play it.
Virtual Villagers 2 The Lost Children – Virtual Villagers, The Lost Children takes place on Isola with some new twists and turns inside the Island. At this point in time, most of the island has been explored and there are no more surprises…Or so you first think.
Virtual Villagers 1 A New Home – Taking the elements of the popular TV series LOST, (which is sort of like a modern version of Gilligan’s Island) and mixing it up with the popular games The Sims, results in a fun real-time island village sim. You’re stranded on an island called Isola and must lead and teach the village to learn, to survive and to thrive. Be aware that the people in the village continue to grow and age, and events take place even when you’re not at your Mac.
